• Appeared in 29 games with 15 starts, averaging 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 0.9 assists per game in 20.5 minutes per outing.
• Ranked fifth in the Big Ten at 2.0 blocked shots and moved into fourth place on the school’s career blocked shots list with 210.
• Finished season ranked sixth on Purdue’s career field goal percentage chart (.582).
• Averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 56.9 percent from the field in 14 contests before a hip injury in early December. Averaged 6.6 points and 3.8 rebounds, shooting 47.0 percent from the field in 15 games after the injury.
• Had 11 games of scoring double-figures and posted second career double-double in win over Jacksonville State (17 points, 10 rebounds).
• Tallied a career-high 26 points and nine rebounds against Minnesota and their big man, Daniel Oturu.
• Blocked seven shots in the season opener, tied for the fifth most in a game in school history.
• Scored 16 points with eight rebounds against Florida State. Recorded a perfect shooting night (6-6 FGs, 1-1 3Ps, 4-4 FTs) against the Seminoles, the sixth-most points scored in a perfect shooting game in school history.

• Haarms had a good sophomore season, averaging 9.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 2.1 blocks per game, while shooting 63.2 percent from the field.
• His field goal percentage was the sixth-best percentage in school history and he shot a blistering 125-of-184 (.679) from inside the 3-point line.
• Had a dominating performance against Illinois, going 8-of-8 from the field, 1-of-1 from 3-point range and 4-of-4 from the free throw line for 21 points, the second-most points in school history on 100 percent shooting efficiency. He added 10 rebounds and five blocked shots in the win for his first career double-double.
• Averaged 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in the season's first 21 games. In the last 15 games of the season, Haarms averaged 11.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. 
• Will forever be etched in Purdue lore with his game-winning tip-in at Indiana with 3.9 seconds left to give Purdue a 48-46 win and the season sweep of Indiana.
• Scored 18 points with nine rebounds in the NCAA Tournament second-round win over Villanova.
• Scored 18 points with six rebounds and two blocks in a home win over Penn State.
• Finished the year with 74 blocked shots, the 10th most in a season in school history.

• Haarms appeared in all 37 games as a redshirt freshman earning starts in the NCAA Tournament games against Butler and Texas Tech.
• Averaged 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 0.6 assists per game while shooting 58.5 percent from the field (72 of 123).
• Finished the year with 79 blocked shots, the second most by a freshman in school history and the seventh most by any player.
• Had four games of five blocked shots, coming against Fairfield, Arizona, Lipscomb and Wisconsin.
• Blocked at least two shots in 25 games and had seven games of four of more blocked shots, helping Purdue to a team-record 180 blocked shots.
• His field goal percentage of 58.5 percent was the second-best mark by a Purdue freshman in school history (min. 100 FGAs).
• Posted double-figure scoring games against Tennessee State (14), SIU Edwardsville (11) and Wisconsin (10).
• Grabbed at least five rebounds in 10 games, including a career-high eight against NCAA Tournament team Lipscomb.
• Scored six points with five blocked shots and four rebounds in 20 minutes against Arizona and likely No. 1 NBA Draft pick DeAndre Ayton.
• Scored seven points with six rebounds, two blocks and one assist in his first career start against Butler in the NCAA Tournament.
• Made his first career 3-pointer in a January win over Wisconsin.
• Had just 30 turnovers in 634 minutes.
• Named to the Big Ten's All-Academic Team.

2016-17
• Joined the team at the semester break, using his redshirt year.
• Went against Isaac Haas and Caleb Swanigan every day in practice.
• Has grown an inch and added about 20 pounds to his frame since his arrival at Purdue.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Ranked a 3-star forward by both Rivals and 247Sports, Haarms committed to Purdue on Oct. 4.
• Was a member of the U-18 Dutch National Team.
• Chose Purdue over offers from Colorado, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
• Has a rare blend of athleticism and size who can step out and hit the 3-pointer, making him a tough matchup.
• Started playing basketball at age 11 and left the Netherlands prior to his junior year to spend a year in Spain to help strengthen his game.
• Sunrise coach Luke Barnwell described Haarms as skilled and mobile and able to "really fly and move laterally" defensively.
• Haarms said "some of the best big men are coming out of Purdue. That was accentuated on my visit. I kept coming back to that every time I was thinking about a decision."
• Played with the Chauncey Billups Elite AAU team in the Adidas Gauntlet series.
• Attended the same school as Buddy Hield, a 2016 All-American at Oklahoma, and Michigan State point guard Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn.

• Majoring in political science.
• Born April 22, 1997, in Amsterdam.
• Son of Peter Haarms and Martine van Hoorn.
• Is the tallest player in Purdue history.
• Becomes just the sixth international player to play at Purdue since the 1951-52 season.
