· Hammons had an outstanding senior season, being named first-team All-Big Ten and the league's Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game while shooting 59.2 percent from the field.
· Was 1-of-4 players nationally to rank in the nation's top 25 in both blocked shots (14th) and field goal percentage (21st).
