- Missed first career game due to illness (upper respiratory infection) against Northwestern (Jan. 17), snapping a streak of 93 consecutive games played.
- Scored a career-high 18 points at Michigan State (Feb. 1), going 6-for-13 from the field and 3-for-6 from long range.

- Albrecht earned a spot on the 2013 NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team after scoring 17 points in the title game against Louisville.
- He appeared in all 39 games as a rookie, averaging 2.2 points per game and 0.7 assists per game.
- In Michigan's final three games of the year against Florida, Syracuse and Louisville in the NCAA Tournament, Albrecht averaged 10.0 points per game and made 7-of-8 3-point attempts during that span.

- Was born August 24, 1992 in Crown Point, Indiana.
- Son of Charles and Tammy Albrecht.
- Has a pair of older brothers, Steve and Chachi, and younger sister, Hannah. Brother, Steve, played basketball at Toledo and Brown.
- Nicknamed Spike after he wore his baseball spikes everywhere when he was eight years old to show his parents how badly he wanted to play the sport.
