• Loyer had another outstanding season, starting all 36 games and averaging 13.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
• Shot 44.4 percent (75-of-169) from long distance to lead the Big Ten and rank 11th nationally in 3-point percentage. Shot 46.5 percent from the field and 84.8 percent from the free throw line.
• Surpassed 10 points 29 times during the year and had four 20-point games, including a season-high 24 points in a road win at Minnesota.
• Made at least three 3-pointers 14 times during the season, including a career-high seven triples in a blowout win over Rutgers. Purdue went 14-0 when he made three or more 3-pointers in a game.

• Loyer had another strong season as a sophomore, starting all 39 games and averaging 10.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 44.4 percent from 3-point range and 86.1 percent from the free throw line.
• Ranked 14th nationally in 3-point percentage and seventh among high-major players that made at least 60, 3-pointers. Finished the year 63-of-142 (.444).
• Made 33-of-68 (.485) from long distance in conference play, the 11th-best mark nationally and tops in the Big Ten. The total was fourth among high-major players.
• Was one-of-10 players nationally to shoot at least 44.0 percent from 3-point range, make 50 trifectas and shoot at least 85.0 percent from the free throw line.
• Had 19 games with at least two 3-pointers, helping Purdue to a 17-2 record in those games. Had five triples against No. 1-ranked Arizona, went 4-of-4 from deep at Indiana and made three trifectas in the Final Four win over North Carolina State.
• Buried a huge 3-pointer in overtime against Northwestern to help Purdue to a 105-96 win. Also added 16 points, most in the second half, of a big win at No. 12-ranked Illinois late in the season.

• Recorded an outstanding freshman season, ranking second on the team in scoring (11.0 PPG) and assists (2.4 APG). He and classmate Braden Smith started all 35 games in the backcourt for the Boilermakers, en route to honorable mention All-Big Ten honors.
• Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week a school-record three times and was named Big Ten Player of the Week once after scoring 27 points in a win over Nebraska in mid-January.
• Ranked fourth among Purdue freshmen all-time in points scored (384), seventh in scoring average (11.0), 10th in field goals made (124), third in 3-pointers made (59), fifth in free throw percentage (.794), 10th in assists (85), first in games started (35) and fifth in minutes played (1,010).
• Tallied 17 points in the season-opening victory over Milwaukee, making a freshman-school record five 3-pointers.
• Netted 20 points with eight assists and no turnovers in the home win over Minnesota.
• Scored 18 poins with four 3-pointers in the Phil Knight Legacy-title game victory over Duke.
• Scored 22 points and took over the game late in an overtime victory over Nebraska that propelled Purdue to the No. 1 ranking a week later.
• Then scored 27 points in a home victory over Nebraska, making a freshman-school record six trifectas.

HIGH SCHOOL
• Named Indiana's Gatorade Player of the Year following his senior season.
• Loyer had a sensational season for Homestead, setting the school's single-season scoring record (726) while making 73, 3-pointers and a school-record 179 free throws. He averaged 26.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game, leading Homestead to the regional semifinal. He is the only player in Homestead history to have two seasons of 600 or more points.
• Loyer finished his career with 2,163 points (803 at Clarkston High School in Michigan; 1,360 points at Homestead) and over his final two seasons at Homestead, accumulated 272 rebounds, 212 assists and 113 steals in just 53 games.
• Won the national High School 3-point Championship in New Orleans following his senior year.
• A top-100 recruit, Loyer led Homestead High School to a 25-1 record and a No. 1 ranking in Indiana as a junior.
• Moved to Fort Wayne from Clarkson, Michigan, before his junior year.

• His grandfather, Al McFarland, played for the Boilermakers in 1964 and his mother, Kate, was a standout athlete at McCutcheon and later served as an assistant coach with the Purdue volleyball program.
• Brother, Foster, was a Michigan Mr. Basketball selection and played three years at Michigan State before transferring for his final two years to Davidson. Foster is now working in the Brooklyn Nets organization.
• Sister, Jersey, is a sophomore on the Butler volleyball team.
