• Finished 30th at Big Tens with an 8k time of 25:00.7
• Had a season-best 8k time of 24:30.4 at Louisville where he was 43rd
• Finished 48th at the Great Lakes Region with a 10k time of 32:06.9
• Took 11th at the Indiana Intercollegiates

2016 (SOPHOMORE)

• Finished 40th at the Great Lakes Region with a 10k time of 31:31.8
• Finished 42nd at the Big Ten Championships with an 8k time of 25:35.3
• Finished fifth at Tennessee Tech
• Finished 18th at the Indiana Intercollegiates

2015 (Redshirt)

• Did not compete while redshirting.

2014 (Freshman)

• Ran the 8k open run with a time of 25.59.3 at the Indiana Intercollegiates to take fifth. 

High School:

• Three-year letterwinner in track and cross country
• Earned Most Valuable Runner honors as a senior.

• Jacob Douglas Hanawalt was born April 25, 1996 to parents Douglas and Karen Hanawalt, who both attended Purdue
• Has two sisters, Sara and Lauren
• Is currently a student in the College of Liberal Arts
