- Set his personal record in the 3,000m run at the Big Ten Track and Field Championships witha time of 8:35.63.

- Did not compete in any indoor/outdoor meets in the 2013-14 track season for the Boilermakers.
High School:
- Participated in track and field and cross country
- Lettered three times in cross country
- Three-time state qualifier in cross country
- During his sophomore year, had a season-best time of 4:40 in the 1600m and 10:00 in the 3200m
- Cross country team finished seventh in the state during his junior year
- Cross country team finished third in the state during his senior year
- All-Sectional and All-Regional as a senior
- Academic All-State First Team
- Team voted most improved runner and best team runner
