2015 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Competed in seven indoor meets, before missing the outdoor season with an injury.
  • Finished sixth in the mile at the Big Ten Championships to help the women finish third overall, the program's best since 2001.
  • Ran a personal best time of 4:44.82 at Big Tens in the mile prelim, the fifth-fastest time in program history.
  • Helped break the school record in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:07.20 at Alex Wilson Invitational, where the women finished fifth.
  • DMR time finished the season ranked 15th in the country.
  • Ran a PR time of 2:08.68 in the 800m, which ranks seventh in program history, at the Meyo Invite to finish 11th.


2014 (FRESHMAN)

  • Competed in six indoor meets, including the Big Ten Championships and participated in seven outdoor meets, counting the Big Ten Championships.
  • Had two second-place finishes in the 1500m: the Texas State Invitational and the Border Battle.
  • PR in the 1500m was recorded at 4:30.03.
  • Took 17that the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the mile with a time of 4:57.71.
  • Placed 15th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 1500m with a time of 4:33.42.
  • PR in the mile stands at 4:57.71.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in track and field and two in cross country; also played two years of volleyball and was Freshman MVP, as well as sophomore Wildcat Award winner; named Most Outstanding Performer in track as a junior and Athlete of the Year as a sophomore; was cross country MVP as a junior; Sunbelt League First Team selection as a junior and also CIF Champion in he 800m; track and cross country MVP as a senior and CIF SS D1 Champ as a senior.

Personal: Kiara Renee McIntosh was born Jan. 18, 1995 to parents Les and Lourdes McIntosh in San Diego; has two sisters, Latrese (older) and Nyssa (younger), and a younger brother, Marcus; majoring in engineering; enjoys baking, hiking and the outdoors.
