2014: Broke 5k program record at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 13:56.41; recorded a 10,000-meter PR time 29:09.57 at the Stanford Invitational where he finished 33rd; finished third in the Big Ten Championships in the 8,000-meter with a time of 23:39.8; also finished third at the NCAA Great Lakes Region Cross Country Championships 10,000-meter with a time of 30:17.0; ran a 5,000-meter time of 14:01.33 to win the Drake relays; in the Anteater Four-Way Meet, placed first with a time of 8:29.26 in the 3,000-meter run; placed fourth in the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 13:53.12; also received eighth place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:03.70.
2013: Named All-Academic; member of the USA Junior National Cross Country Team; finished third at the USA Cross Country Junior National Championships with a time of 24:51.9 to be selected to the Junior National team; won the 10,000-meter US Junior National Championship with a time of 31:14.31; won the Pan-American Junior Championships with a time of 31:14.31; placed seventh in the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:22.48; also placed sixth in the 10,000-meter run, clocking 29:37.89; recorded a PR of 4:00.55 at the Sea Ray Relays in the 1500-meter run; placed 11th in the 3,000-meter run at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a time of 8:07.06 and eighth in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:18.95; finished eighth at the SPIRE NCAAA Invitational in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:10.58.
2012: Big Ten Freshman of the Year; second team all-conference honors; finished eighth at Big Ten Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:03.7; also placed eighth at the Great Lakes Regional Meet clocking 30:57.0; qualified for NCAA Championships, the first to do so since 2009; finished 103rd at the NCAA Championships with the sixth fastest NCAA Championships time in Purdue history.
High School: Four year letterwinner in track and cross country; First Team All-Conference all four years in cross country; Second Team All-Conference in the 1600m and 3200m as a freshman; won the Class C State Championship in cross country his sophomore, junior, and senior years; First Team All-Conference in the 1600m and 3200m for track his final three high school seasons; Mountain Valley Conference 1600m and 3200m Champion as a sophomore; First Team All-State in cross country as a junior; Maine Festival of Champions Champion in cross country as a junior; Class C State Champion in the 1600m and 3200m for track as a junior and senior; named the Gatorade Runner of the Year as a junior and senior; named a Foot Locker Third Team All-American as a senior; set the state meet record in the 1600m with a time of 4:16 and the 3200m record with a time of 9:16; New England Champion in the 3200m as a senior; was the class Validictorian.
