2015: Competed in the 5k at the Rankin/Poehlein Invite.
2014: Did not compete in any indoor/outdoor meets in the 2013-14 track seasons for the Boilermakers.
High School: Four year letterwinner at Harrison HS in track; earned the team's Most Improved Award as a sophomore; was honored with the team's Mental Attitude Award as a junior and senior; earned the Mental Attitude Award during her senior season in her only year with the cross country team; track team won sectionals all four years; went to the same high school as teammate Katie Vierk; was coached by Faith Warner and Mike Phillips.
Personal: Kelly Elizabeth Fields was born July 31, 1992, to parents Jim and Michele Fields; majoring in biology; has two older sisters, Ann and Megan; Kelly is a double-legacy as both parents graduated from Purdue; sister Ann also graduated from Purdue; enjoys music, reading, and swimming in her free time.
