High School: Four-year varsity letter winner in cross country and track and field; earned all-conference honors in cross country as a sophomore, junior, and senior; named all conference in track in the 1,600m and the 3,200m as a junior and senior; earned all-sectional honors in cross country and the 1,600m and 3,200m as a junior and senior; all-sectional honoree in the 4x800m relay as a senior; qualified for semi-state in cross country as a junior; won his conference as a senior in the 1,600m, 3,200m, 4x800m relay, and cross country; qualified for the Indiana State Cross Country Championships as a senior; ran a career-best 4:23.3 in the 1,600m, 9:41 in the 3,200m, and a 15:51 in the 5,000m; team won Conference Championships in 2007, 2008, and 2010; named team MVP as a junior and senior in both cross country and track and field; earned Academic All-State honors as a junior and senior; was coached by Mike Miller. Personal: Blake Evan Mills was born April 24, 1993, in Flora, Ind.; is the son of Jack Mills and Virginia Rusch-Mills; has an older brother, Tristan; enjoys hanging out with friends and watching sports; plans to major in mechanical engineering.
