2009: Turned in an 8K time of 27:07.86 in his first collegiate effort at the Great American Legends race (9/4), placing fourth on the team and ninth overall; finished 32nd overall and seventh on the team at the Indiana Intercollegiates (9/18), lowering his collegiate-best 8K to 26:20.50; improved his top 8K time for the third straight race, crossing the line in 25:44.88 at the Greater Louisville Classic (10/3); scored the team[apos]s No. 4 time at the Gibson Family Invitational (10/10), finishing 18th overall with an 8K mark of 26:22.6; rounded out Purdue[apos]s scoring with a 65th place finish in the 8K Big Ten Championship (11/1), recording a 27:35.7 time; finished his first collegiate 10K race at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships (11/14) with a time o f 33:42.84.
High School: Three-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track and field at McCutcheon High School; earned Indiana High School All-State honors with a 10th-place showing at the 2008 cross country championships; 2008 Indiana Academic All-State honoree; posted a 5K cross country best of 15:45 and notched track and field top times of 9:38 in the 3,200-meter run and 4:30 in the 1,600-meter run.
