2005: Ran in one race as a freshman, posting a 21:08.7 at the Great American Legends (9/9).
Before Purdue: Attended Purdue-North Central in Westville, Ind.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in cross country at New Prairie High School; won the state championship as a freshman in 2001; was a three-time conference and sectional champion; named the team's MVP as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
