Competed in five varsity indoor events, running the 600- and 800-meter events; finished her lone 600 effort in 1:38.85; clocked a career-best mark of 2:17.67 in the 800-meter run at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational; did not compete in a varsity outdoor event.
HIGH SCHOOL
Won six varsity letters in track and field and cross country at New Haven High School; set the New Haven senior record in the 3,200-meter run as a senior en route to the team[apos]s most improved award; also set the New Haven record in the 4x800-meter run and served as a team captain as a senior; named the New Haven cross country MVP as a freshman and won the cross country mental attitude award as a sophomore.

Nicole M. Kreis was born Dec. 27, 1987, in New Haven, Ind.; is the daughter of Timothy and Leigh Darnell; has one brother, Matthew Mills, enjoys soccer and art; majoring in health sciences.
