- Competed in two indoor events
- Finished 11th at the Gene Edmonds Invite in the 3k with a time of 10:42.79
- Took 15th at the Fred Wilt Invite in the 3k with a PR time of 10:37.39
- Four-year letterwinner in track and cross country
- Improved her 800m PR from 2:31 as freshman to 2:27 as a junior;
- Held a 12:09 PR in the 3200m as a freshman
- Cross country team earned second place at IHSAA State Championships her sophomore season
- Cross country team placed fourth at IHSAA State Championships her junior season
- Posted an 11:54 PR in the 3200m as a junior and shaved off 27 seconds to hold an 11:27 3200m PR as a senior
- PR in the 1600m was a 5:25 as a senior
- Earned Academic All-State and Honorable Mention All-State accolades her senior year
- Grace Evelyn Denton was born May 1, 1996 to parents John and Nancy Denton
- Has one brother, Sam, and one sister, Maya
- Plans to major in pre-pharmacy and attend pharmacy school at Purdue
- Wants to work in pharmaceutical research after graduation
- Enjoys music, playing piano, reading, cooking and spending time with friends
- Chose Purdue to continue the family tradition
