LOUISVILLE, Ky. Daryn Wright and Sophie McAfee finished 2-3 in the women's 3-meter competition, clinching their berths at the NCAA Championships and leading the way as the Purdue Divers added five more bids to the national championship meets in Friday's springboard action at the Zone C Diving Championships.

Needing only top-12 showings Friday to add 1-meter to their schedules at NCAAs, Jordan Rzepka, Max Miller and Holden Higbie finished 6-7-8. All three Boilermakers qualified for NCAAs in both springboard events, Rzepka accomplishing the feat for the third year in a row. Higbie and Miller both did it as freshmen.

McAfee is now a three-year NCAA Championships qualifier as well. Wright is also going back to the national championship meet as a sophomore. They'll join teammate Jaye Patrick in Athens, Georgia, next week. All three Boilermakers only need to be top 12 on the platform Saturday to add that event to their schedules at NCAAs.

A top-12 finish for Rzepka on Saturday will make him 9-for-9 in career NCAAs qualifications as the junior looks to qualify in all three events for the third consecutive year. Higbie can also qualify in all three events as a freshman with a top-12 showing Saturday on the tower.

Maycey Vieta also competes Saturday in her marquee event. The 2023 Big Ten champion and 2021 NCAA bronze medalist will need to finish top 11 on the tower to qualify for NCAAs for the fourth consecutive year.

Action at the NCAA Zone C Championships concludes Saturday with both genders competing from the platforms. Action begins with the women's event at 11 a.m. ET and the men follow at approximately 2 p.m.
