SARASOTA, Fla. –  Ashley Kozlowski, Natasha Kiel and Momo Sugiyama carded under-par rounds to lead Purdue Women's Golf on the final day of the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational. As a team, the Boilermakers improved 15 strokes from their opening round, firing a 3-under 285 Monday to end the tournament in sixth place (+9).

For the second straight tournament, Sugiyama led the Boilermakers by tying for 16th. The junior shot 70 (-2) during a final round that featured pars on holes 1-12. After a bogey on No. 13, Sugiyama got the stroke back with a birdie on the par-5 14th. She added two more birdies on the back nine, playing her final eight holes 3-under to finish 1-over for the tournament. Her two-day total of 145 (75-70) tied for the seventh-best 36-hole score in school history.

Kozlowski bounced back from a 77 in round one, recording a 69 (-3) for Purdue's best round of the event that was shortened to 36 holes due to rain on Sunday. The low round vaulted the senior into the Top 20, her 10th Top 20 finish of her career. Kozlowski made five birdies throughout the final round, including four through a span of five holes. Following a birdie on No. 16 and a bogey on No. 17, she birdied the par-4 18th before heading back to the front side. Kozlowski kept the birdie train going with two more at No. 1 and No. 2, three in-a-row, before parring her final three holes to secure her round in the 60s.

Kiel (+2) tied Kozlowski for 20th after firing a 70 (-2) to match her best round as a Boilermaker. She played holes 1-12 bogey-free, making one birdie to go along with 11 pars. Her lone bogey came at the difficult 13th, but she recovered with two more birdies to get back into red figures for the day.

Following a team-best 72 in the opening round, Jocelyn Bruch shot 76 during Monday's final round to contribute to Purdue's score. The Carmel, Indiana, native birdied a pair of par 5s on the front nine, helping the Boilermakers play the lengthy holes 8-under as a team throughout the tournament.

Up next, the Boilermakers make the trek west for The Show in Las Vegas to begin the month of March (March 4-5). March features a trio of tournaments. Purdue competes in the Briar's Creek Invitational on the coast of South Carolina (March 11-12). Closing out a busy month, the Boilermakers return to The Bruzzy Challenge at Dornick Hills Country Club in Oklahoma (March 30-31).
