BERKELEY, Calif. – The Purdue men's tennis team fell to the California Golden Bears on the road on Wednesday evening.
NOTES
Purdue put up a good fight in doubles against the Golden Bears, but was unable to succeed, giving California the point.
Piotr Galus gave his opponent, Lucas Magnaudet a good run to start off their singles match, but edged out the point, 7-5, 6-0.
Following into singles, Gabriele Brancatelli came back to win the tie break in singles after splitting his first two matches against Philip Hjorth to give the Boilermakers another point.
Purdue was unable to clinch the win against California, letting their overall record go to 7-7. This was the Boiler's last non-conference game on the road for their season.
