WILMETTE, Ill. - Purdue Women's Golf finished in 11th-place at the Windy City Classic at the Westmoreland Club on Tuesday, led by sophomore Ashley Kozlowski (Littleton, Colorado) and her Top 25 individual performance (T22, 77-75-74--226).
Two difficult rounds knocked the Boilermakers down the team leaderboard, but a strong third and final round in Wilmette saw the Old Gold & Black as one of just six squads of the 15-team field shoot below 300 to close the classic out.
With the 11th-place finish (313-306-297--916), head coach Devon Brouse's squad finished the two-day event on Westmoreland's 6,457-yard, par-72 course, with the additional caveat of outshooting No. 12-ranked USC (300-315-315--930).
Head coach Boilermaker lineup heading into the competition, which is played has one change from its season-opening turn at the Sam Golden Invitational in Denton, Texas, back on Sept. 13-14.
