WILMINGTON, N.C. - Purdue Women's Golf was led by a standout performance from junior Kan Bunnabodee (Chonburi, Thailand) over the weekend amongst a strong field of competitors at the Landfall Tradition, played at the Country Club of Landfall from Friday, Oct. 29-Sunday, Oct. 31.
Bunnabodee came into the clubhouse at 3-under-par, shooting rounds of 71-70-72 (213) to lead the way for the Boilermakers. Head coach Devon Brouse's squad placed 13th out of 18 teams with a team showing of 303-296-293--892. Purdue bested fellow Big Ten Conference squads Penn State (898) and Maryland (902) at the event.
Also landing in the Top 50 on the individual leaderboard was senior Inez Wanamarta (Surabaya, Indonesia), who turned in rounds of 73-74-74 (221) to tie for 34th.

The trip to Florida for the squad is the second-straight season the Boilermakers will host an event at The Founders Club. Last season, the women's golf program hosted the inaugural Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund (ARLWF) Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate from Feb. 7-9, 2021, placing 11th out of 15 teams.
