WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – An efficient night for No. 12 Purdue (15-5, 7-4 B1G) saw three Boilermakers hit over .350 in the sweep versus Northwestern (9-13, 4-7 B1G). Purdue ended the night with a 3-0 victory (25-16, 25-19, 25-17) in Holloway Gymnasium.

As a team, Purdue hit .352, including over .300 while out of system. Leading the way was Caitlyn Newton, who not only posted her fourth straight match with 16 kills, but hit for a .406 attack %, her best during Big Ten play this season. Meanwhile, freshman Raven Colvin's .583 was a team-high, and her most efficient outing since the conference opener on Sept. 24 vs. Ohio State.

Emma Ellis was a spark off the bench, tallying eight kills (a personal-best since playing Lipscomb on 9/11) while tying a career-high two block solos. She was joined by Colvin, who also added two solos in the win, the middle blocker's third consecutive match with at least one.

Hayley Bush secured her ninth double-double of the season with 31 assists and a team-best 11 digs.

Purdue will be back on Sunday to take on No. 3 Wisconsin. The Halloween matchup will air on ESPNU at Noon ET.
