The 9-under par team effort was boosted by Bunnabodee's individual 9-under-par event, which saw her finish tied for seventh place (69-66-72; 207).

DENTON, Texas - Highlighted by an outstanding individual performance by junior Kan Bunnabodee (Chonburi, Thailand), the Purdue Women's Golf team finished in eighth place (286-285-284; 855) at the Sam Golden Invitational. The 9-under par team effort was boosted by Bunnabodee's individual 9-under-par event, which saw her finish tied for seventh place (69-66-72; 207).
 
Recording Top 50 individual finishes for the Boilermakers and head coach Devon Brouse were: senior Inez Wanamarta (T-28th, 69-66-72; 207), sophomore Ashley Kozlowski (T-42nd, 76-73-70; 219), senior Danielle du Toit (T-42nd, 71-76-72; 219) and redshirt freshman Jocelyn Bruch (T-46th, 73-77-70; 220).
 
Purdue landed at seventh (286-285; 571) in the team standings following the Sam Golden's first day on the links on Monday at the host location, Wildhorse Golf Course on Robson Ranch. The par-72, 6,288-yard course remained tough to crack for the Boilermakers, as the squad was only able to subtract a single stroke from their score to card a 284 group round on Tuesday.
 
Purdue is back in action at the Windy City Classic, hosted by Northwestern outside Evanston in Wilmette, Illinois. Play is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 4, and Tuesday, Oct. 5.
