COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Purdue men's golf team finished its final preparations for postseason play with a 12th-place finish at the Kepler Intercollegiate, hosted by Ohio State University at the Ohio State Golf Club's Scarlet Course.
The Boilermakers couldn't get it going on Sunday, posting a final-round tally of 18-over par 302 to finish the 54-hole event at 39-over par 891 (294-295-302). Illinois won the event at 7-over par 859.
Joe Weiler led the Boilermakers with a T-25th finish at 7-over par 220 (73-73-74). Cole Bradley tied for 40th at 9-over par 222 (74-73-75). Nick Dentino was tied for 57th at 13-over par 226 (76-73-77), while Herman Sekne and Peyton Snoeberger tied for 63rd at 14-over par 227.
Andrew Farraye was tied for 83rd as an individual at 22-over par 235 (78-81-76).
Purdue will now head to Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, for the Big Ten Championships beginning Friday.
