MAINEVILLE, Ohio – The women's golf team completed the 2021 Big Ten Tournament seventh overall. The Boilermakers found trouble on the second nine of TPC River's Bend on Sunday and shot a combined 11-over 299 as a team in the third and final round. Collectively, Purdue was a 21-over with an 885 (295+291+299) over the three days and 54 holes.
Sophomore Kan Bunnabodee, who entered Sunday's finale tied for third individually, saw a pair of holes on the front nine scuttle her impressive rounds from Friday and Saturday. Bunnabodee ended up tying for 36th in the player standings with a 54-hole tally of 9-over 225 (70+71+84).
Senior Inez Wanamarta was the Boilermakers' top individual in the conference's championship with a three-day score of 8-over 224 (78+74+72) to place 33rd. She fired her best round of the weekend Sunday with an even-par 72.
Junior Danielle du Toit recorded her second eagle of the weekend Sunday on the par-5 11th. She tied with Bunnabodee for 36th, carding a 54-hole score of 225 (80+71+74).
Michigan State took home the team title with a three-round 11-under 853. Nebraska's Kate Smith won the individual medal with a 9-under 207, including carding an 8-under 64 Sunday.
