<br /><br />AWENDAW, S.C. – The Purdue men's golf team struggled late in the round, finishing 11th at the competitive Hootie Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay Golf Club.

AWENDAW, S.C. – The Purdue men's golf team struggled late in the round, finishing 11th at the competitive Hootie Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay Golf Club.
 
The Boilermakers finished the 54-hole event with a tally of 7-over par 871 (285-291-295) after a final-round 295. Purdue was fourth after the opening round and seventh after 36 holes, but couldn't maintain its momentum and slipped four spots in the final standings.
 
Purdue was cruising along pretty good through 10 holes in the final round, posting a combined 1-under score among its five players, but over the last eight holes, the Purdue group played the holes in 18-over par to fall off the pace.
 
North Carolina State (-18), Missouri (-16) and Auburn (-15) finished in the top three.
 
Cole Bradley recorded his fourth career top-10 finish by posting a 3-under par 213 (70-72-71), good for 10th place.
 
Nick Dentino finished T-33rd at 2-over par 216 (70-73-75) and Joe Weiler was tied for 38th at 3-over par 219 (71-74-74), Peyton Snoeberger (T-57), Andrew Farraye (T-70) and Herman Sekne (84) rounded out Purdue's lineup.
 
Purdue will compete at the Calusa Cup next weekend in Naples, Florida.
