AWENDAW, S.C. – The Purdue men's golf team struggled early and late in the round and slipped to seventh after 36 holes at the Hootie Intercollegiate at Bulls Bay Golf Club.
The Boilermakers totaled a second-round score of 3-over par 291 to fall to even-par 576 (285-291) after the second round.
Purdue trails co-leaders Auburn and North Carolina State by 13 shots as the Tigers and Wolfpack sit at 13-under par 563. Missouri (-12), Kent State (-10), Duke (-6) and College of Charleston (-5) round out the top six.
The Boilermakers were in fourth after Sunday's first round.
Cole Bradley paces the Boilermakers through two rounds, sitting in T-12th at 2-under par 142 (70-72). Bradley was 4-under for the tournament, before a pair of bogeys late dropped him to even-par for the round.
Sophomore Nick Dentino is tied for 17th at 1-under par 143 (70-73). Joe Weiler is 34th at 1-over par 145 (71-74), while Herman Sekne and Peyton Snoeberger are tied for 47th at 3-over par 147.
Playing as an individual, Andrew Farraye is 74th at 6-over par 150.
Purdue will wrap up action with tomorrow's third round, being paired with Wisconsin and West Virginia.
