NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – With three Boilermakers registering four or more blocks, Purdue volleyball (11-5) secured a three-set victory at Rutgers (2-14) with scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-12 to stay undefeated (14-0) against the Scarlet Knights.

With Purdue's sixth sweep of the season, the Boilermakers improve to 9-1 in its last 10 matches.

Sophomore Emma Ellis recorded a team-leading 10 kills for her second double-digit output of the season. Meanwhile Jael Johnson recorded a season-high .727 hitting mark with her nine kills, one error, on 11 swings. The performance was her second-most efficient match as a Boilermaker (when recording 7 or more kills) and ties as the 8th-best by a Big Ten player this season. Moreover, Johnson produced three solo stuffs, a career-high, on her way to tying fellow middle blocker Taylor Trammell with seven total blocks on the day.

Hayley Bush tallied 30 assists on the day to go with two kills on four attempts, moving up to No. 8 all-time in Purdue's annals with 3,324 career assists.
 
 
Set One | Score: 25-15
The Boilermakers secured five team blocks in the set, led by Cleveland with four. After checking in the match with the score 8-4 in favor of Purdue, Emma Ellis went on to take two of the next three points on her way to a .500 hitting clip in the set (five kills and one error on eight swings).
 
Set Two | Score: 25-21
Purdue recorded seven blocks in the set to lead the Boilermakers to victory. Johnson went errorless, recording five kills on six attempts for a .833 attack %, in addition to two solo stuffs in the stretch.

Set Three | Score: 25-12
The Boilermakers pulled away from a 3-4 deficit by scoring 14 consecutive points to bring the score 17-4. Ellis secured a .727 hitting clip after going errorless with five kills on seven attempts.
