WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Times in six events that ranked among Purdue's all-time fastest highlighted the Boilermakers' intrasquad time trials meet Friday at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.

Five Boilermakers won a pair of individual events. Of the six times that ranked among Purdue's all-time top 15, four were posted by freshmen.

After qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 200 breaststroke and anchoring the Boilermakers' 800 freestyle relay to a program-record time at the Big Ten Championships, Nick Sherman continued to demonstrate his versatility by winning the 200 free with a time of 1:35.41 that moved him into third place in team history. He also led off the 200 free relay with a 20-second split in the 50.

Freshmen Coleman Modglin (200 breast) and Hayley Pike (1,000 free) both accounted for the eighth-fastest times in team history while winning their events Friday. Belle Hinshaw joined Modglin as freshmen to win multiple events.
