Women's Golf Wraps Up UCF Challenge in 8th

<br /><br />ORLANDO, Fla. – Senior Micaela Farah carded Purdue's lowest round of the season and freshman Kan Bunnabodee finished in a tie for 21st individually as the Boilermakers wrapped up the UCF Challenge on Tuesday.

Senior Micaela Farah carded Purdue's lowest round of the season and freshman Kan Bunnabodee finished in a tie for 21st individually as the Boilermakers wrapped up the UCF Challenge on Tuesday.
 
Farah, who birdied five holes on the back nine, finished the final round 3-under with a score of 69. Farah's effort Tuesday pulled her to even par for the tournament at 216 (75-72-69) and into a tie for 28th individually.
 
Bunnabodee, who made her collegiate debut at the event, played 2-over par in the third round to finish the challenge 1-under. Her three-day tally of 215 (71-70-74) is the lowest 54-hole score of the season for the Boilermakers.
 
Freshman Sifat Sagoo and sophomore Danielle du Toit each shot even par 72 in the final round Tuesday. Sagoo's three-day score of 2-over 218 (73-73-72) placed her 41st in the individual standings.
 
Shooting a season-low 1-under 287 collectively in the third round, Purdue finished eighth out of 16 in the team standings with a three-day total of 1-over 865 (289-289-287) .
 
Kent State took home the team title of the UCF Challenge at 13-under par, while Miami's Renate Grimstad won individual honors at 14-under.
 
The Boilermakers will next head to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, where they will host the 18th-annual Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 9-11.
