RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The Purdue men's golf team struggled late in its second round in Puerto Rico, falling to T-10th after 36 holes.
 
The Boilermakers totaled a 7-over par 295 to fall five spots into a 10th-place tie with Maryland at 5-over par 581 (286-295). On a day when strong scores were posted, the Boilermakers couldn't take advantage of the ideal conditions.
 
Georgia Tech shot a blistering 268 for a 36-hole total of 550 (-26) and a one-shot lead over Oklahoma (551). Alabama, Clemson and Georgia round out the top five.
 
The Boilermakers are, however, in the midst to finish in the top half. Purdue is just three shots behind Marquette and College of Charleston for seventh and two shots behind North Carolina State for eighth.
 
Andrew Farraye continues to lead Purdue after a second-round 71 and a two-day total of 5-under par 139, good for ninth place.
 
Cole Bradley also recorded a 1-under par 71 and is tied for 16th at 3-under par 141 (70-71).
 
Joe Weiler recorded his second straight 73 and is tied for 42nd at 2-over par 146.
 
Nick Dentino is tied for 68th at 11-over par 155 (75-80) and Jason Hong is tied for 70th at 12-over par 156 (75-81).
 
Final round action begins at 8 a.m. ET, on Tuesday.
