INDEPENDENCE, Minn. – Amid dreary and wet conditions Sunday, junior Joe Weiler and freshman Nick Dentino continue to pace the Purdue men's golf team, helping the Boilermakers to sit in a sixth-place tie after 36 holes at the Gopher Invitational held at Windsong Farm GC.
The Boilermakers recorded a two-round total of 3-over par 571 (290-281) on the par-71 layout. Purdue was sixth after round one's 290, before staying in the same position despite shaving nine strokes off its first-round score.
Baylor leads the elite field at 8-under par (560) and is followed by Texas A&M (-5; 563), West Virginia (-2; 566), Arkansas (-2; 566) and Marquette (Even; 568).
