MADISON, Wis.- The Purdue women's tennis team fell to Wisconsin 5-2 on Sunday at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
The Boilermakers earned two singles victories. Ena Babic finished first with a 6-3, 6-1 win over No. 72 Lexi Kerberle at the No. 2 spot. No. 33 Silvia Ambrosio defeated Sara Castellano 6-2, 3-6, 6-3.
Zala Dovnik fought closely with MaryAnn Rompf before dropping a 4-6, 6-7 decision.
At No. 1 doubles, No. 53 Amina Mukhametshina and Ambrosio left their match unfinished against Melissa Pick and Ava Markham 3-4.
The Boilermakers (5-10, 0-4) are back in action at Iowa on Friday at noon ET.
