Silvia Ambrosio and Amina Mukhametshina played a tough match against the No. 9 doubles duo of Sadie Hammond and Kaitlin Staines, trailing 5-3 when the match went unfinished.
In singles play, Seira Shimizu took No. 121 Johanna Silva to three sets before losing 1-6, 7-5, 2-6.
On court two, Ena Babic took Staines to three sets before falling 6-7(5), 6-2, 3-6.
Caitlin Calkins won the first set against Tenika McGiffin 6-4, ultimately falling 6-4, 3-6, 5-7.
The Boilermakers (5-4) are back in action at Tulsa on March 2. The match starts at noon ET.
