WESTFIELD, Ind. Cole Bradley recorded an opening-round 66 and Purdue posted under-par scores in both rounds to sit within shouting distance after 36 holes at the Chatham Hills Collegiate.

The Boilermakers totaled a 36-hole total of 7-under par 569 (282-287) to sit 11 shots behind leader Marquette (558) after two rounds. Northwestern is second at 16-under par 560, while Indiana is third at 13-under par 563.

Bradley is fourth overall at 6-under par 138 (66-72), five shots behind Northwestern's David Nyfjall (-11). Bradley's 66 is the 19th-best score in school history and career-best round. He tallied six birdies and no bogeys in his opening round and ranks fourth in the field in birdies made with 10.

Playing as an individual, sophomore Jason Hong is tied for sixth at 4-under par 140 (73-67). His second-round 67 was a career-low score and featured six birdies against just one bogey.

Timmy Hildebrand is tied for 16th at 1-under par 143 (74-69). He rose 24 spots after round one with his sixth round in the 60s already this year.

Jarle Volden (75-71) and Andrew Lewis (71-75) are tied for 34th at 2-over par 146. Lewis is playing in his first collegiate tournament. Joe Weiler is 52nd at 6-over par 150 (71-79), while Andrew Lewis, playing as an individual, is tied for 53rd at 8-over par 152 (74-78).

Purdue is paired with Rutgers and Eastern Michigan in round three, teeing off hole No. 1, from 8:30 to 9:10 a.m. ET.
