WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - In the final two days of the Purdue Invitational, five Boilermakers saw action.

In singles play, Zala Dovnik defeated Paula Veyhle from Northern Illinois 6-1, 6-4 on Saturday. She defeated Wright State's Andreea Craciun 6-7 (7-2), 7-6 (7-4), 6-4, earning second place in the Purdue Singles Draw.
 
Alex Sabe lost Saturday 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 against Ahmeir Kyle of Xavier. Sunday, she defeated Laura Bernardos of Western Kentucky 6-4, 6-3, earning third place in the Black Singles Draw.

Caitlin Calkins fell to Madeleine Brooks from Lipscomb Saturday 6-4, 6-1. Sunday she earned third place in the Gold Singles Draw by defeating Sarah Swiderski of Ball State 6-3, 6-2.
 
Ena Babic and Amina Mukhametshina played doubles for Purdue, defeating Lipscomb's Denise Buberl and Madeleine Brooks 8-4. The two lost Sunday to Kateryna Popova and Viktoria Dzyuba of Lipscomb 8-4.
 
Saturday, Dovnik and Calkins played against Jovana Peric and Fernanda Naves of Norther Illinois, winning 8-1. The pair lost to Xavier's Ahmeir Kyle and Hunter Roper 8-5 on Sunday.
 
Silivia Ambrosio will play in the ITA All-American Tournament on Tuesday. All the Boilermakers will be back on the road Oct. 26 for the Bonita Bay Tournament at Florida Gulf Coast University.
