RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Purdue (6-21) enjoyed a 4-3 walk-off victory in its first meeting with Texas Tech (19-10) on Friday, but the second time around it was the Red Raiders who pulled off a 4-3 walk-off win following Purdue's 6-1 loss to Idaho State (2-16). Purdue's seven, eight and nine hitters tallied eight hits between the two contests.

The Boilermakers led late in the ballgame against Texas Tech following a two-run fourth, however the Red Raiders managed three runs in the sixth to take a one-run advantage into the seventh. Seven, eight and nine hitters, Siena Wagner, Stephanie Ramsey and Halle Hixenbaugh all singled to begin the seventh and load the bases. The Red Raiders managed to get outs on the ensuing two at-bats but ball off of Jenny Behan's elbow guard forced a run in to tie the ballgame at three before Texas Tech could retire the side.

Purdue was just an out away from forcing extra innings prior to an RBI double winning the game for the Red Raiders.

Behan finished the game 2-for-3 and earned three hits on the day while Alexa Binckes doubled and scored a run in the heart of the order. Outside of that and a pair of walks out of the leadoff spot by Mallory Baker, Purdue's production came from the bottom of the order. Wagner and Ramsey each singled twice with Hixenbaugh earning another hit on top of her 3-for-3 effort against Idaho State.

Purdue was held to four hits in game one outside of Hixenbaugh's three singles against Idaho State. Binckes, Behan and Ryleigh Scott all recording base knocks. Scott went 2-for-4 while Behan's ripped her hit down the left field line for a double.

Purdue finishes non-conference play Sunday at noon ET in a rematch against Idaho State.
