IOWA CITY, Iowa - No. 22 Purdue (18-7, 8-6 B1G) fought with its back against the wall, hitting .400 in the final two stanzas to take down the Hawkeyes (16-11, 5-9 B1G) in five sets (25-20, 19-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-9) at Iowa's Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Danielle Cuttino, Sherridan Atkinson and Azariah Stahl all finished with kill totals in double figures.

Cuttino was sensational in the contest registering 27 kills on 43 swings with just four errors to hit .535 against the Hawkeyes. The senior out of Indianapolis, Indiana, earned seven kills on eight errorless swings in the fifth set after she torched the Hawkeyes for nine kills on 15 swings with just two errors in the fourth. She also led Purdue's blocking efforts as she registered seven of the 13 blocks by Boilermakers on the afternoon.

Atkinson followed up her All-American performance Friday night with another efficient outing in which she totaled 16 kills, a .300 hitting percentage, three blocks, an ace and was just two digs shy of a double-double. Stahl continued to do it all for the Boilermakers as the senior finished with 11 kills, an ace, 18 digs and four blocks. Blake Mohler added eight kills and six blocks as well.

Ashley Evans was just a dig shy from a double-double as she set the offense on 60 of its 69 kills and also aced the Hawkeyes. Brooke Peters finished with a career-best 22 digs in the match while freshman defensive specialist Jena Otec earned six digs and an ace.

After four matches on the road, Purdue now comes home to West Lafayette, Indiana, for a rematch with Minnesota on Nov. 10, at 5:30 p.m. ET and its only match of the season against Wisconsin on Nov. 11, at 7 p.m.
