Oct. 25, 2017 WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boiler Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting its inaugural talent show to support the Riley Hospital for Children on Nov. 4.
"Boilers Got Talent" will take place at Holloway Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $10, payable at the door, and all proceeds go to the Riley Hospital for Children through the Purdue University Dance Marathon.
Some acts still are being finalized, but among those confirmed are the following:
Women's Basketball: Step show with music
Men's Cross Country: Matthew Grider juggling while riding a unicycle
Women's Cross Country: Disney lip synch
Women's Golf: Singing and piano playing
Soccer: Video
Softball: Lip synch
Men's Swimming & Diving (1): James Boone stand-up comedy
Men's Swimming & Diving (2): Guitar duet
Men's Track & Field: Comedy skit
Men's and Women's Track & Field: Bijay Stephens and Chloe Abbott singing
In addition, Riley patients will perform the last act.
Each team has its own fundraising page on the Purdue University Dance Marathon website where people can contribute to support the cause (money goes to the Purdue University Dance Marathon, not the sports team):
