Baseball Hosts Michigan for Key Series

The feel-good season for baseball continues with a key Big Ten weekend series against No. 16 Michigan.

The Boilermakers (26-21, 10-8 B1G) and the Wolverines (36-12, 11-7) play at 6 p.m. ET today and tomorrow and 3 p.m. Sunday. The finale will be televised by BTN.

For Purdue, it wraps up what will become a 13-game homestand, the program's longest since a 14-gamer in April of 1983. The Boilermakers were slated for 10 straight home games, but with their contest at Valparaiso on May 9 cancelled due to weather, they will play a baker's dozen in a row at Alexander Field.

In the Big Ten standings, Michigan is tied for fourth place, while Purdue is seventh. The top eight teams qualify for the Big Ten Tournament.
