WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - A new program record by Emily Meaney in platform diving highlighted the final day of the Big Ten Championships for Purdue women's swimming & diving.

Meaney joined Taite Kitchel as the Boilermakers' championship final qualifiers Saturday at Big Tens. The freshman diver from Australia eclipsed both the freshman and program records in platform diving held by Kara Cook. Meaney finished fourth in the championship final with a score of 359.3. Her prelim score of 315.6 gave her the freshman record first.

The Boilermakers placed sixth in the team scoring, accumulating 656 points while finishing among the top half of the conference for the fourth time in the last five years.

Lexi Vincent won the consolation final of platform diving in her first competition since suffering an injury in December. Vincent won the consolation final with a career-best score of 291.75 that was good for 10th in program history.
