COLUMBUS, Ohio - Selected members of Purdue women's swimming closed out their seasons by racing at the two-day Ohio State Winter Invite, which wrapped up Sunday.

The nine Boilermakers that competed teamed up for 10 places in A finals of the individual events. Cally Sampson took fourth in the A final of the 200 backstroke for Purdue's top individual finish of the weekend. She posted the team's fourth-fastest time (2:01.25) of the season in the event, just one of a host of personal season-best times for the Boilermakers at the meet.

Lea Cecil, Grace Einterz, Anna Giesler, Rachel Ho, Sophie Levy, Leah Ritsema and Reagan Thom all competed in three individual events. Giesler was an A finalist in both breaststroke events, accounting for the fifth-fastest time (2:22.92) this season in the 200. Levy won the B final of the 50 freestyle.

Chloe Guhlstorf (50 and 100 free), Giesler (100 and 200 breast) and Sampson (100 and 200 back) were Purdue's top finishers in multiple events. Cecil (200 free) and Levy (100 fly) were the team's top finishers in the other individual events in which it had multiple entries.

The Boilermakers are hosting the Big Ten Championships beginning Wednesday evening. The seven-session women's conference championship is being held at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center for the first time since 2010.

Nothing but love and friendship for the boilermakers. Ready to kill this last session and send these seniors out with a bang 💥 #instatakeover #loveandfriendship #lastonefastone
