WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) Purdue's David Blough was 29 of 39 passing for 340 yards with two touchdowns in his first college start, but the Boilermakers lost to Bowling Green 35-28 on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium. He also ran for a score.
Bowling Green (2-2) has wins over two Big Ten Conference schools this season, the first time the Falcons have beaten two power-conference teams in the same season since 2003.
Purdue kicker Paul Griggs missed a 32-yard field goal with 2:50 to play, and Matt Johnson took the Falcons 80 yards on nine plays in 2:41 for the winning score.
The Boilermakers play at No. 2 Michigan State next Saturday.
