ITA Tournament Central | Qualifying Doubles Draw
TULSA, Okla. - The Purdue men's tennis team bowed out of the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships Tuesday as Szymon Tatarczyk and Ricky Medinilla were dealt an 8-2 setback in the second round of the qualifying doubles draw.
After receiving a bye in the first round of the 64-team draw, the Boilermaker duo squared off against the 10th-seeded combo of Brett Clark and Esben Hess-Olesen of North Carolina. Tatarczyk and Medinilla were unable to gain the upper hand against the Tar Heels and were forced to an early exit.
The Purdue men's tennis team will be back in action Oct. 11 - 15 at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.
