FRENCH LICK, Ind. - The Purdue men's golf team shot 303 (+15) on Sunday to wrap up a seventh-place finish at the 2013 Big Ten Men's Golf Championships.
The Boilermakers finished the weekend at French Lick Resort with a total of 1,203 (+51).
Junior Adam Schenk had a weekend to remember, tying for fifth place to mark his best finish in three-career appearances at the Big Ten Championships. He moved four spots up the leader board on Sunday with a one-under 71, the best round by any Purdue player at the tournament. He finished the weekend with a total of 292 (+4).
Sophomore Enzo Perez turned in a top-20 showing, shooting 74 (+2) on Sunday to move into a tie for 17th place. Perez finished the weekend with a total of 300 (+12).
Redshirt freshman David Cooke finished 36th with a total of 306 (+18), while sophomores Justin Cho (307, +19) and Ben-Marvin Egel (313, +25) tied for 37th and 52nd, respectively.
The Boilers will wait until the NCAA makes its selection for the mid-May regional round to see if they will continue their 2013 postseason run.
