RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - The Purdue men's golf team shot 297 (+9) on Tuesday to wrap up a 14th-place finish at the Puerto Rico Classic.
The Boilermakers finished the three-day event with a team score of 897 (+33).
Junior Adam Schenk led the Boilers at Rio Mar Country Club with a total of 218 (+2), good for a share of 31st place.
Sophomores Justin Cho and Ben-Marvin Egel tied for 59th place with scores of 229 (+13). Cho fired his best round of the tournament on Tuesday with a two-under 70.
Senior Jakob Ziegler tied for 64th with a total of 230 (+14) and freshman Jonathan DiIanni tied for 70th with a score of 233 (+17).
Purdue will return to action on March 16, when it opens the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
