RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - The Purdue men's golf team shot 292 as a group on Monday in the second round of the Puerto Rico Classic to move into 14th place.
The Boilermakers own a team total of 600 (+24) with one more round to play at Rio Mar Country Club.
Junior Adam Schenk starred for the Boilers in the second round, shooting a three-under 69 to move into a tie for 22nd place. He has an even-par total of 144 after two days of competition.
Senior Jakob Ziegler shot 75 (+3) on Monday and is currently tied for 57th with a total of 152 (+8). Sophomore Ben-Marvin Egel fired a one-over 73 in the second round and is part of a 59th-place tie with a total of 153 (+9).
Freshman Jonathan DiIanni is tied for 68th with a total of 156 (+12) and sophomore Justin Cho sits in 73rd place with a score of 159 (+15) after 36 holes of play.
The final round of the Puerto Rico Classic will start at 6:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available at golfstatresults.com.
