MADISON, Wis. - The Purdue men's tennis team wrapped up the Big Ten Singles Championships on Sunday. Szymon Tatarczyk was the last Boilermaker remaining and was eliminated in the quarterfinals.

The eighth seeded Tatarczyk had won two consecutive matches in straight sets to get into the quarterfinals. On Sunday, the Purdue junior was faced with his toughest task, Bruno Abdelnour or Illinois, the No. 3 seed in the tournament. Tatarczyk battled tough, but came up short, losing 6-3, 6-3.

The only other Boilermaker that was in the tournament was Arthur Dobradin. The freshman won one match in the singles tournament.
