WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - KK Houser scored 19 points, hitting all 10 of her free-throw attempts, and added 10 assists Wednesday night to help No. 14 Purdue beat Georgia Tech 85-73.

It was her first double-double this season and the second of Houser's career.

Drey Mingo had 16 points, Courtney Moses scored 15 and April Wilson added 12 points for the Boilermakers (6-1) in a game that was part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Wilson played with a composure rare for a freshman, contributing six assists and six steals without a turnover in 31 minutes of action against a high pressure Georgia Tech defense.

Sam Ostarello and Taylor Manuel each scored nine points and Ostarello pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

Tyaunna Marshall led all scorers with 26 points for the Yellow Jackets (3-3). Dawnn Maye had 16 points and seven assists for Georgia Tech, and Jasmine Blain contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. The Yellow Jackets had a 40-28 rebounding advantage but were outscored 56-32 in the paint.

Purdue shot 52 percent from the floor, including 70 percent (21-of-30) in the second half to pull away from a 37-35 lead at the break.

Georgia Tech built an 11-point lead at 10:27 in the first half before the Boilermakers started chipping away. Purdue's largest lead was 12 points and came with 3:51 to play. The game had seven lead changes and nine ties but a 12-0 run just after the midway point of the second half gave Purdue the cushion it needed to lead for good.

The Boilermakers return to action Sunday, Dec. 2 when they play host to Central Michigan at 1:30 p.m. in Mackey Arena. The game will be broadcast live on BTN.
