Men's Golf Takes Seventh at Bridgestone Golf Collegiate

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Purdue men's golf team shot 296 (+8) as a team on Sunday to move up a spot and take seventh at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate.

The Boilermakers finished the two-day event with a team total of 888 (+24).

Sophomore Enzo Perez turned in his best performance as a Boilermaker in the fall finale, tying for 10th with a total of 219 (+3). The Biarritz, France, native shot 73 (+1) on Sunday to secure the first top-10 finish of his Purdue tenure.

Junior Adam Schenk finished the tournament in strong fashion, as well, by shooting 71 (-1) on Sunday to move into a tie for 19th place. The Boilers' lone red number of the weekend gave Schenk a total of 221 (+5).

Senior Jakob Ziegler grabbed a share of 30th place with a total of 223 (+7), while sophomore Justin Cho finished 41st with a tally of 226 (+10). Freshman Jonathan DiIanni rounded out the Purdue lineup in 62nd place with a final score of 235 (+19).

The Bridgestone Golf Collegiate was the Boilermakers' final tournament of the fall season. Purdue will resume competition on Feb. 8 with the start of the Big Ten Match Play Championship in Bradenton, Fla.
