OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - The Purdue men's golf team shot 307 (+27) on Tuesday in the final round of the Olympia Fields CC/Fighting Illini Invitational to finish the tournament in 14th place.
The Boilermakers finished the three-day event with a total of 903 (+63).
Junior Adam Schenk paced the Boilermakers with a total of 226 (+16), good for a tie for 43rd place. Sophomore Enzo Perez and freshman Jonathan DiIanni both finished the event in a tie for 46th with totals of 227 (+17). Redshirt freshman David Cooke compiled a total of 229 (+19) to tie for 56th, and sophomore Justin Cho finished with a score of 233 (+23) to tie for 65th place.
Purdue will be back in action again next week when it will be part of an 11-team field at Muirfield Village for the Jack Nicklaus Invitational. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday before wrapping up the event with 18 on Tuesday.
