Men's Golf Slips to 14th at OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - The Purdue men's golf team carded a second-round 299 (+19) on Monday at the Olympia Fields CC/Fighting Illini Invitational to finish the day in 1th place.

The Boilermakers own a team total of 596 (+36) after 36 holes of competition. The tournament's final round will be contested on Tuesday, with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

Junior Adam Schenk is the Boilermaker furthest up the leader board, checking in with a share of 36th place after shooting 74 (+4) on Monday. He has a total of 149 (+9) for the event.

Sophomore Enzo Perez also shot 74 on Monday and stands in a tie for 41st with a total of 150 (+10). Freshman Jonathan DiIanni shot 79 (+9) on Monday to fall back into a tie for 47th with a total of 151 (+11), while redshirt freshman David Cooke shot Purdue's best round of the day with a two-over 72 to move his total to 152 (+12) and rise to a tie for 54th.

Sophomore Justin Cho carded a second-round 79 (+9) to finish the day in a tie for 59th with a score of 153 (+13).
